When standard plugins are no longer enough
Many Shopware stores start with ready-made extensions from the store. That often makes sense. But at some point you may need something that does not fit cleanly into an off-the-shelf plugin: special pricing rules, a custom checkout step, an integration with your ERP system or small automations that save your team time every day.
This is where our Shopware plugin development comes in. We do not simply build “another plugin”. First we look at the process behind it. What should become easier, faster or safer? Which data needs to move where? And how can the solution stay maintainable after future updates?
What we develop
Clueware builds custom Shopware 6 extensions for online stores, B2B portals and agencies that need technical support. Typical tasks include ERP, PIM, CRM or shipping integrations, custom storefront features, admin extensions, import and export logic or checkout adjustments.
We keep the size of the solution in proportion to the problem. A small internal tool does not need heavy architecture. A central integration that handles orders, stock and prices, on the other hand, needs planning, testing and documentation.
How we work
At the beginning we clarify the goal of the plugin and the important constraints. Then we prepare a clear technical outline, so everyone knows what will be built. Development happens in a test environment before anything touches the live store.
After delivery you do not receive a black box. We document the important parts, explain the usage and make sure updates, debugging and later extensions remain possible.
Who this is for
Our plugin development is a good fit for store owners with clear requirements who do not want a fragile workaround. It also fits agencies that cover design, strategy or marketing well, but need technical reinforcement for Shopware backends, APIs or complex data flows.
Common questions
Can an existing plugin be extended?
Often yes. We first check whether extending it makes sense or whether a small custom plugin would be cleaner in the long run.
Is custom development always expensive?
Not necessarily. Sometimes a small, well-built plugin replaces many manual steps. The key is keeping the scope clear.
Do you support the plugin after development?
Yes. We can take care of maintenance, updates, monitoring and further development.
